NTPC Limited upgraded to 'B' ESG rating by MSCI

NTPC Limited announced on November 12, 2025, that its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) rating has been upgraded by MSCI ESG Ratings from CCC to B. This disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The upgrade reflects NTPC's strengthened commitment and enhanced performance across sustainability, governance, and climate responsibility. The company emphasized that this improvement underscores its ongoing transition towards a cleaner energy portfolio.

NTPC also highlighted a stronger ESG framework, which is embedded both at the execution and management levels within the organization. The company, through executive director (finance) Aditya Dar, provided this information for stakeholders' records.
