Fortis Healthcare reports strong Q2, H1 FY26 growth, expands operations

Fortis Healthcare reported a consolidated top line of INR2,331 crores for Q2 FY26, marking 17.3% growth over Q2 FY25. The hospital business revenue increased by 19.3% to INR1,974 crores, accounting for 85% of consolidated revenue, while the diagnostic business net revenue grew 7.1% to INR357 crores. Consolidated operating EBITDA surged by 28% to INR556 crores, achieving a margin of 23.9%, up from 21.9% in the prior year.

For H1 FY26, consolidated revenues reached INR4,498 crores, a 16.9% increase over H1 FY25, with operating EBITDA rising to INR1,047 crores, reflecting a 310-basis point improvement to 23.3%. The hospital business revenue for H1 FY26 increased by 19% to INR3,812 crores. The company's net debt stood at INR2,219 crores as of September 30, 2025, with a net debt-to-EBITDA ratio of 0.96x.

Strategic expansions included a 15-year lease for a 200-bed multi-specialty hospital in Greater Noida and an O&M agreement for a 550-bed greenfield super-specialty hospital in Lucknow. The acquisition of Shrimann Super speciality Hospital in Jalandhar increased Punjab's total bed count to 965. Operational bed capacity increased by 550 beds in H1 FY26, leading to a hospital occupancy rate of 71%.
