Adani Green Energy targets 50 GW renewable capacity by 2030

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced its target to achieve 50 GW of renewable energy capacity by FY30E, a significant increase from its current operational capacity of 16.7 GW (as of September 2025). The company's portfolio is spread across 12 resource-rich states, with 70% solar and 13% wind in its current resource mix, shifting to 71% solar and 13% wind by FY30E. AGEL's project development strategy includes securing 250,000 acres of resource-rich sites and over 5 GW of Pumped Storage Plants (PSP) sites.

The company projects robust financial growth, with H1 FY26 revenue at ₹6,088 Cr and EBITDA at ₹5,651 Cr, reflecting a 26% and 25% year-on-year increase, respectively. For FY25, revenue is projected at ₹9,495 Cr and EBITDA at ₹8,818 Cr. AGEL reported a strong operational performance with plant availability of 99.0% for H1 FY26 (Hybrid) and 95.2% (Solar), and grid availability of 97.2% for H1 FY26 (Hybrid) and 99.0% (Solar). CUF for H1 FY26 stands at 39.1% (Hybrid) and 24.8% (Solar).

In terms of sustainability, AGEL is committed to avoiding 50 GW of GHG emissions by 2030 and aims to achieve net water positive status for 100% of its operating plants by FY26. The company also targets 65% EV adoption by FY30. AGEL holds top ESG ratings, ranking 1st in India and 7th globally in the RE sector by Sustainalytics.
