Action Construction Equipment reports mixed H1-FY26 results, strategic growth initiatives

For H1-FY26, Action Construction Equipment (ACE) reported a total income of INR 14,768 Mn, a 4.9% year-over-year decrease from H1-FY25's INR 15,527 Mn. However, the company achieved a 5.0% increase in EBITDA, reaching INR 2,823 Mn, with EBITDA margins improving to 19.12% from 17.32%. Profit after Tax (PAT) also rose by 4.9% to INR 1,878 Mn, pushing PAT margins to 12.72%, an increase of 119 basis points. Diluted EPS for H1-FY26 stood at INR 15.78, up 5.0% from INR 15.03 in H1-FY25.

ACE continues to be India's most diversified CE manufacturer and the world's largest pick and carry crane manufacturer with a global presence in over 37 countries. Strategic initiatives include increasing capacity utilization, upgrading to NX series cranes, and expanding market share in truck cranes. The company also aims to boost its export contribution and recently secured a significant order from the Ministry of Defence for 1,121 rough terrain forklifts valued at Rs. 420 Crores, reinforcing its "Make in India" commitment.

The company's product portfolio has been upgraded to new emission norms BS-V CEV for international markets, including the Forma range of tractors, telehandlers, Backhoe Loaders “Phantom 4x4,” and Equal Wheel “4X4X4” Backhoe Loaders. ACE also introduced India's first fully electric mobile crane, India’s largest indigenous crane with 180 tons lifting capacity, and its first self-propelled aerial work platforms. These advancements are expected to capture significant growth prospects in India's manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.
