ENIL to divest three FM radio stations for ₹12.60 crore

Entertainment Network (India) Limited (ENIL) disclosed on November 16, 2025, a proposal approved by its committee of directors to enter into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Abhijit Realtors & Infraventures Private Limited. This agreement involves the proposed transfer of tangible and intangible assets from three FM radio stations: Kanpur 91.9 FM, Lucknow 107.2 FM, and Nagpur 91.9 FM. The transaction explicitly excludes any trademarks or other intellectual property rights owned by ENIL.

The total consideration for this proposed transaction is ₹12.60 crore, plus applicable taxes. An initial payment of ₹3.00 crore is expected upon the execution of the term sheet, with the remaining balance to be paid in tranches before the closing. The completion of the sale is anticipated by September 30, 2026, contingent upon the execution of definitive documents, receipt of regulatory approvals from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and fulfillment of other conditions.

For the financial year 2024-25, the three identified radio stations generated a turnover of ₹284.90 lakhs, representing 0.55% of the company's total turnover for the same period. Abhijit Realtors & Infraventures Private Limited, engaged in real estate, radio, and entertainment, is not a related party or part of the promoter group of ENIL. The company's rationale for this divestment is to monetize these radio station frequencies.
