Rushil Decor posts Q2 FY26 recovery, eyes future growth

Rushil Decor Limited reported revenue from operations of INR 2,356 million in Q2 FY26, marking a 2.3% year-over-year increase and 31.5% sequential growth. This recovery follows a temporary disruption in Q1 FY26 due to a fire at its Andhra Pradesh MDF facility, which is now fully operational at optimum levels, achieving 79% capacity utilization. The company's consolidated EBITDA stood at INR 225 million with a margin of 9.5%, and profit after tax was INR 51 million with a margin of 2.2%.

The MDF segment recorded INR 1,695 million in Q2 FY26 revenue, experiencing a 7.7% year-over-year improvement in blended realization due to a better product mix and disciplined pricing. Value-added MDF products contributed 45% by quantity and 56% by value. The laminate business grew 8.9% year-over-year to INR 547 million, with an EBITDA margin of 7.7%.

Looking ahead, Rushil Decor expects continued momentum, supported by contributions from the Jumbo Laminate facility, improved MDF capacity utilization, and international market expansion. The company anticipates achieving a total turnover of approximately INR 970 crores for FY26, with an EBITDA margin between 10% and 12%. For FY27, a total turnover of around INR 1,100 crores or more is expected, with additional revenue from Jumbo Laminates and new operations in Singapore.
