Mankind Pharma challenges substantial tax penalty order

Mankind Pharma Limited reported on November 15, 2025, that it received an order on November 14, 2025, from the office of the additional commissioner, CGST, Gurugram, Haryana. The order levies a penalty of INR 83,00,790 for the financial year 2021-22 due to the alleged disallowance of Input Tax Credit (ITC).

The company stated that, based on its assessment of facts and prevailing law, the order is considered "arbitrary and unjustified." Mankind Pharma plans to file an appeal with the appellate authority to challenge this demand and penalty.

Mankind Pharma confirmed that the order is not expected to have a material impact on the company's financials, operations, or other activities.
