Wockhardt seeks shareholder approval for director's continued tenure past 75

Wockhardt Limited announced a postal ballot, open from November 15, 2025, to December 14, 2025, for a special resolution to appoint Mr. Om Prakash Bhatt as a non-executive independent director for a five-year term, effective November 3, 2025, to November 2, 2030. The proposal also seeks approval for his continuation as director even after he attains the age of 75 on March 7, 2026.

Mr. Bhatt, aged 74, was initially appointed as an additional (non-executive independent) director by the board on November 3, 2025. The board and the nomination and remuneration committee recommended his appointment due to his extensive experience across various sectors and his independence from management. The e-voting results will be declared on or before December 16, 2025.
