Adani Green subsidiary secures large hydro storage project in Assam

Adani Saur Urja (KA) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited, has been awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) by Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL). This LOA is for the procurement of 500 MW energy storage capacity from a pumped hydro storage plant, secured through a competitive bidding process.

The financial terms stipulate an annual fixed cost (tariff) payable of Rs. 1,02,92,887 per MW per annum. This tariff will be applicable for 40 years from the commercial operation date.

Adani Green Energy Limited officially received this Letter of Award on November 13, 2025, at 4:30 PM. The company has requested that this intimation be taken on record by both BSE Limited and The National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
