Bigbloc Construction reports strong Q2, H1 FY26 performance

Bigbloc Construction Limited reported a consolidated revenue from operations of 673 million rupees for Q2 FY26, marking a 30.3% year-on-year growth and a 19.5% sequential increase. This performance was primarily fueled by a 43.7% year-on-year and 18.3% quarter-on-quarter rise in sales volume, reaching 198,555 cubic meters. For the first half of FY26, the company's revenue from operations stood at 1,237 million rupees, an increase of 19.8% over the prior year.

The company's profitability also saw an uplift, with Q2 FY26 EBITDA at 19 million rupees, resulting in a 2.8% margin. H1 FY26 EBITDA was 32 million rupees, with a 2.6% margin, benefiting from better capacity utilization and stable input costs. Overall capacity utilization improved to 62% in Q2 FY26 from 53% in the previous quarter, with the StarBigBloc plant operating at 90% utilization.

Strategic initiatives include ramping up AAC wall panel utilization at the SIAM Cement BigBloc Construction Technologies joint venture to 43%, and the upcoming commissioning of a construction chemicals facility in Umargaon. The company anticipates reduced logistics costs and market penetration with a new plant in Madhya Pradesh.
