Bharat Dynamics posts strong H1 results, secures major missile contract

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. Total income for the half year was INR 1,60,238.95 lakh, up from INR 90,235.06 lakh in the previous year. Profit after tax for the half year stood at INR 23,423.35 lakh, demonstrating a strong financial performance. The board of directors approved these results on November 13, 2025.

BDL also secured a contract worth INR 2,095.70 crore from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of Invar Anti-tank missiles to the Indian Army. This domestic order is slated for execution over a span of three years.

The company's basic and diluted earnings per share for the half year increased to INR 6.39, compared to INR 3.54 in the prior year. Total assets were INR 13,06,783.79 lakh as of September 30, 2025.
