Abans subsidiary appoints new statutory auditor

Expert House Chartered Accountants has resigned as the statutory auditor for Abans Middle East DMCC (AMED) due to "pre-occupation," effective from the close of business hours on November 12, 2025. Expert House confirmed no other reasons for their resignation beyond those stated in their letter. The firm was initially appointed on August 2, 2023, with a term scheduled to expire on March 31, 2026. Their latest limited review report for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, was issued on October 25, 2025.

To fill the casual vacancy, JHS Chartered Accountants LLC has been appointed as the new statutory auditor for AMED for a period of two years, effective November 12, 2025. JHS is an assurance, tax, and advisory firm with global expertise and local insights, offering comprehensive services across multiple regions, including India, UAE, UK, and USA. The firm is approved and registered with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and the Ministry of Economy (MOE) to conduct statutory audits in the UAE.
