Blue Cloud Softech partners with BSNL for 5G FWA services in Tamil Nadu

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited announced its empanelment as a 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) partner for BSNL in the Tamil Nadu Circle, effective November 11, 2025. This five-year agreement allows Blue Cloud to provide 5G Internet Leased Line (ILL) services to enterprises on a revenue-sharing basis, with a potential extension. The company will be responsible for designing, supplying, deploying, operating, and maintaining 5G RAN, Edge CORE, radio access equipment, and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), as well as promoting 5G FWA services to enterprise customers.

BSNL will provide essential infrastructure including space, power, backhaul IP connectivity, spectrum, and ILL bandwidth at its existing premises, handling billing and collections under the BSNL brand. Revenue will be shared with Blue Cloud Softech Solutions at a ratio ranging from 70:30 (BCSSL: BSNL) on monthly revenue. This strategic move aims to expand Blue Cloud's service portfolio with value-added solutions like Edge Micro Data Centers and AI-driven analytics, tapping into a 5G FWA market projected to reach over $1.5 billion by 2027.

Preliminary Phase-1 trials for the 5G FWA-ILL project at BSNL Exchange, Mindi, Visakhapatnam, showed promising results, achieving desired throughput performance and validating network components for enterprise-grade broadband services. Phase-2 and Phase-3 trials are scheduled to conclude within two weeks, positioning the service for commercial launch.
