Shyam Metalics reports strong half-year earnings, income climbs

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited reported a consolidated total income from operations of INR 4,526.15 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, and INR 8,998.60 crore for the half-year ended on the same date. This represents a substantial increase compared to the half-year ended September 30, 2024, which recorded INR 7,368.83 crore in total income.

The company's consolidated net profit after tax for the quarter was INR 260.45 crore, leading to a half-year net profit after tax of INR 551.12 crore, up from INR 491.80 crore in the prior half-year period. Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the half-year stood at INR 19.81, compared to INR 17.69 for the half-year ended September 30, 2024.

For standalone results, total income from operations for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, was INR 1,701.61 crore, with the half-year figure at INR 3,484.12 crore. Standalone net profit after tax for the half-year was INR 303.25 crore, an increase from INR 271.22 crore in the corresponding half-year of the previous year. These unaudited financial results were reviewed by the audit committee and approved by the board of directors on November 7, 2025.
