Rail Vikas Nigam secures major South Central Railway contract

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance from South Central Railway for a substantial infrastructure project. The contract involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning for the OHE (Overhead Equipment) up-gradation of the existing 1X25kV system to 2X25kV AT feeding system, including feeder and earthing works. This project will be executed in the Ramgundam (RDM) - Kazipet (KZJ) section of the Secunderabad Division.

The project encompasses 92 RKM/276 TKM and is valued at Rs 144,44,51,878.04, inclusive of applicable taxes. The work is slated for completion within an 18-month timeframe. RVNL has confirmed that neither promoters nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, nor does the contract fall under related party transactions.
