IFGL Refractories reports strong Q2, H1 FY26 growth, plans expansion

IFGL Refractories Limited reported a strong performance for Q2 and H1 FY26. On a standalone basis, total revenue increased 12% year-on-year to INR 288.4 crores in Q2 FY26 and INR 566.6 crores for H1 FY26. EBITDA for Q2 FY26 grew 12% to INR 37.4 crores, reaching INR 75.1 crores for the half year, despite challenges from higher raw material costs and product mix changes. Profit after Tax (PAT) for Q2 FY26 rose 9% to INR 14.9 crores, totaling INR 29.6 crores for H1 FY26. Domestic revenue surged 27% year-on-year in Q2 FY26 and 29% for H1 FY26, contributing 78% of standalone revenues in H1 FY26.

Consolidated results also showed significant growth, with total revenue for Q2 FY26 increasing 18% year-on-year to INR 490.6 crores and 13% for H1 FY26 to INR 947.7 crores. Consolidated EBITDA for Q2 FY26 was INR 40.0 crores, up 10% year-on-year, reaching INR 79.0 crores for H1 FY26. Consolidated PAT for Q2 FY26 grew 5% to INR 12.7 crores. The company is actively pursuing new projects, including a Greenfield Dolomite Bricks plant in Khurdha with an estimated Capex of INR 300-350 crores, expected to be operational by end of FY28, and a Basic Bricks plant in Gujarat with a Capex of INR 300 crores, slated for FY29.
