Cholamandalam seeks re-classification of promoter entities to public category

Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited announced on November 10, 2025, that it has applied to both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited. The application is for the re-classification of Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited and Coromandel Engineering Company Limited from the 'Promoter Group' to the 'Public' category. This application follows approval from the company's board of directors, as communicated in a letter dated November 6, 2025.

The re-classification request is made in accordance with Regulation 31A (8) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended ("SEBI Listing Regulations"). This move signifies a shift in the ownership structure by reducing the promoter's holding.

The company's secretary, P Sujatha, issued the intimation, urging the stock exchanges to take the submission on record.
