HPL Electric & Power resolves 'HAVELLS' trademark dispute with Havells India

HPL Electric & Power Limited announced on November 9, 2025, that a settlement agreement was signed yesterday, November 8, 2025, between the "HPL Electric & Power Limited, its Promoters & Promoter Group" (referred to as HPL Group) and "Havells India Limited (HIL) & and its promoter entity" (referred to as Havells Group). This agreement resolves long-pending disputes and litigations concerning the use of the word/mark 'HAVELLS'.

The resolution encompasses suits previously pending in the Delhi High Court and Special Leave Petitions (SLPs) before the Supreme Court of India. These disputes were referred to mediation by the Delhi High Court, culminating in the recently executed settlement.

The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Vivek Kumar, company secretary, signed the communication on behalf of HPL Electric & Power Limited.
