Meghmani Organics sees Q2 profit soar 402% on strong crop protection sales

Meghmani Organics (MOL) has announced a substantial increase in profit and revenue for the second quarter and first half of fiscal year 2026. For Q2 FY26, standalone revenue from operations grew by 5% year-over-year to ₹557.7 crore, while EBITDA surged by 71% to ₹70.5 crore. Profit After Tax (PAT) experienced a remarkable 402% increase, reaching ₹43 crore.

The Crop Protection segment was a key driver, constituting approximately 79% of the company's Q2 FY26 revenue. This segment saw an 11% increase in revenue to ₹442.6 crore and a 73% rise in EBITDA to ₹74.9 crore. Production in Crop Protection stood at 10,136 MT, with a capacity utilization of 72%. The Pigments segment, however, experienced a 15% decline in revenue to ₹115.0 crore and a 6% decrease in EBITDA to ₹4.0 crore, despite a 2% increase in production to 3,759 MT, with a capacity utilization of 45%.

For the first half of FY26, MOL’s standalone revenue from operations increased by 22% to ₹1,150 crore, with EBITDA growing 173% to ₹151 crore, and PAT soaring by 3,575% to ₹83 crore. The company attributes improved profitability to stabilizing raw material prices and increased contribution from its Formulation business.
