Megasoft reports strong profit growth driven by property sale

Megasoft Limited reported its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. For the half-year, the company achieved a standalone profit after exceptional items and before tax of INR 16,824.53 Lakhs, a substantial increase from INR 144.27 Lakhs in the prior year period. Consolidated profit after exceptional items and before tax was INR 16,778.72 Lakhs, compared to INR 141.77 Lakhs in the previous year.

The significant profit growth was primarily attributed to a profit on the sale of property, which contributed INR 18,463.74 Lakhs to both standalone and consolidated other income for the half-year. Total standalone revenue for the half-year stood at INR 19,150.31 Lakhs, with total consolidated revenue at INR 19,107.07 Lakhs.

As of September 30, 2025, standalone total assets were INR 37,352.08 Lakhs, while consolidated total assets reached INR 30,467.16 Lakhs. The company also disclosed an investment held for sale of INR 12,900.00 Lakhs on a standalone basis and INR 6,071.60 Lakhs on a consolidated basis. The board of directors approved these results on November 8, 2025.
