Greenlam subsidiary boosts laminate output with Naidupeta plant expansion

Greenlam Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Greenlam Industries Limited, has approved a brownfield expansion of its laminate manufacturing capacity at the Naidupeta Plant in Andhra Pradesh. This initiative aims to address increasing demand in both domestic and global markets.

The expansion involves an additional capacity of 2.0 Mn Sheets/Boards annually, supplementing the existing capacity of 24.52 Mn Sheets/Boards per annum. The project entails a total investment of Rupees 70 Crores, to be financed through internal accruals and financial support from Greenlam Industries Limited.

The expected completion timeline for this expansion is Q4 FY 2027. Currently, existing capacity utilization is 96% in Q2 FY 2026.
