Ashoka Buildcon wins significant North Western Railway project worth Rs 539.35 crore

Ashoka Buildcon Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance from the President of India, acting through the CEE/Project/NWR, North Western Railway, Jaipur, for a new project in Ajmer. The total accepted project cost is Rs 539.35 crore, including GST.

The project involves upgrading the existing electric traction system from 1 x 25 kV to 2 x 25 kV, along with modifications to the existing OHE for 160 kmph, across several sections of the Ajmer Division of North Western Railway. The scope includes design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning.

This domestic undertaking is expected to be executed within 24 calendar months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. The announcement was made on November 8, 2025.
