Global Health posts strong Q2, plans major bed capacity expansion

Global Health Limited reported a consolidated total income of INR 11,189 million for Q2 FY26, marking a 14.8% year-over-year increase, with profit after tax reaching INR 1,584 million, up 21.1%. The company's EBITDA (excluding Noida) grew 13.7% year-over-year to INR 2,804 million, maintaining a margin of 25.2%.

In a strategic move, the company plans to increase the bed capacity of its Mumbai hospital from 500 to 750 beds following additional FSI approval. Total costs for the Mumbai project will increase to INR 1530 Crores from INR 1200 Crores, including the acquisition of 30 residential flats for staff. The company's total installed beds grew to 3,435 in H1 FY26, with an overall capital expenditure plan of over ~INR 41,200 million for the next five years.

Medanta Noida commenced operations in September 2025 with 226 operational beds out of a planned 550, contributing INR 39 million in revenue despite an initial EBITDA loss of INR 197 million. Additionally, Medanta Patna added 37 new beds in Q2 FY26, and the Guwahati project progressed with the acquisition of a 3.5-acre land parcel. The company will also meet with investors Grandeur Peak Global and Aberdeen Investments on November 11 and 12, 2025, respectively.
