Bartronics secures five-year empanelment with Bank of Maharashtra

Bartronics India Limited announced its empanelment as a corporate business correspondent (CBC) vendor for Bank of Maharashtra for a five-year period, effective November 7, 2025. This collaboration extends a 15-year association, with Bartronics currently operating in 1,800 villages and serving over 15 million people through its CBC operations for Bank of Maharashtra.

Under the new agreement, Bartronics plans to expand its banking touchpoints from 1,800 to 3,000 within the next 6-9 months, focusing on Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka. This expansion will add 1,200 new customer service points (CSPs), projected to generate an additional ₹50 crore in revenue over the next five years. The initiative is also expected to create 1,200 local CSP agent jobs.

Bartronics will continue to provide essential banking and financial services, including account opening, deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, remittances, microinsurance, social security enrollments, and financial literacy. The company operates across India's rural and semi-urban geographies, adhering to stringent ISO standards.
