SBI mutual fund decreases stake in Paradeep Phosphates

SBI Mutual Fund (SBIMF) reported a change in its shareholding in Paradeep Phosphates Limited, decreasing its stake by 2% from its previously disclosed holding. This adjustment follows a composite scheme of arrangement involving Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited and Paradeep Phosphates Limited. As a result, SBIMF was allotted 3,130,443 shares of Paradeep Phosphates Ltd on October 31, 2025.

Prior to this transaction, SBIMF’s reported holding in Paradeep Phosphates Ltd was 6.3912% of the paid-up share capital, as disclosed in a letter dated June 10, 2025. As of October 31, 2025, SBIMF's final holding across its various schemes stands at 41,130,443 shares, representing 3.9626% of the company's paid-up share capital.

This disclosure was made in accordance with Regulation 29(2) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The equity share capital of Paradeep Phosphates before the acquisition was Rs 8,163,456,580, consisting of 816,345,658 equity shares. After the acquisition, the capital stands at Rs 10,379,689,880, comprising 1,037,968,988 equity shares, each with a face value of Rs 10.
