Rail Vikas Nigam wins major central railway contract

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) announced today, November 6, 2025, that it has been awarded a major contract by Central Railway. The company was the lowest bidder for the project, which involves the "Design, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 220/132/55 KV Traction Substation, Sectioning Post (SPs) and Sub Sectioning Post (SSPs) in 2x25 KV Traction System (Scott Connected Transformer) of Daund-Solapur Sections." This initiative aims to meet a 3000 MT loading target under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode.

The total cost of the work is stated as INR 2,72,07,86,524.78, inclusive of applicable taxes. RVNL expects to complete the project within 24 months. This contract, identified under Tender No: PUNE-TDC-2025-EPC-05, is considered part of the normal course of business for the company.

No promoter, promoter group, or group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the order, and the contract does not fall within related party transactions.
