Procter & Gamble reports modest second quarter growth

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Limited announced sales of ₹1150 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025, marking a 1% growth year-over-year. Profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹210 crores. For the six months ended September 30, 2025, sales of products reached ₹2,08,401 lakhs, with total revenue from operations at ₹2,08,720 lakhs.

Profit before tax for the six-month period was ₹54,648 lakhs, resulting in a profit for the period of ₹40,192 lakhs. Basic and diluted earnings per share for the quarter were ₹64.65 each. The results were approved by the board of directors on November 6, 2025, following a review by the audit committee, and a limited review report was furnished by the statutory auditors.

The company's operating segments, including health care products and hygiene products, have been aggregated into a single primary reportable segment in accordance with Ind AS 108. The financial year was changed from June 30 to March 31, making the previous financial year (2024-25) a nine-month period.
