Amber Enterprises: H1 FY26 revenue jumps 25% despite Q2 flat

Amber Enterprises India Limited reported a 25% revenue growth in H1 FY26 to ₹5,096 crore, while Q2 FY26 revenue remained flat at ₹1,647 crore compared to the previous year. Operating EBITDA grew 13% to ₹361 crore for H1 FY26 but declined 19% to ₹98 crore for Q2 FY26. Profit After Tax (PAT) for H1 FY26 decreased by 23% to ₹74 crore, with Q2 FY26 showing a loss of ₹32 crore. This decline was attributed to higher financing costs from the Power-One stake purchase, elevated inventory levels, and joint venture losses.

The company successfully raised equity funds of ~₹1,000 crore through a Qualified Institutions Placement, with ₹986 crore utilized for debt repayment and working capital purposes in Q2 FY26. Strategic expansions are underway in the Electronics Division, including the Ascent-K Circuit JV with Korea Circuit, and the acquisition of a 60% stake in Power-One Micro Systems Pvt Ltd for ₹26,200 lakhs. The Railway Sub-systems & Defense Division continues to strengthen its order book, now standing at ₹2,600+ crore, with new JV facilities nearing commercial production by H1 FY27.
