Paytm partners with Groq for real-time AI inference

One 97 Communications Limited (Paytm) has announced a strategic partnership with Groq, a U.S.-based leader in real-time AI inference. This collaboration will deploy GroqCloud, powered by Groq's LPU technology, to achieve significantly faster, more cost-efficient, and scalable AI inference compared to traditional GPU-based systems. The integration aims to strengthen Paytm's data-driven decision-making and product intelligence across its ecosystem.

The advanced AI models will support Paytm's efforts to enhance transaction processing, risk assessment, fraud detection, and customer engagement. Narendra Singh Yadav, chief business officer at Paytm, emphasized that this partnership will strengthen their technology foundation and enable real-time AI inference at scale, marking a step towards building India's most advanced AI-driven payment and financial services platforms.
