Chambal fertilisers sees strong Q2, H1 growth; interim dividend declared

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Limited reported unaudited standalone revenue from operations of ₹12,110.37 crore and consolidated revenue of ₹12,110.37 crore for the six months ended September 30, 2025, marking a 31% year-on-year increase in standalone revenue. Standalone profit after tax (PAT) for H1 FY25-26 reached ₹1,240 crore, up 18%, while consolidated PAT grew by 22% to ₹1,198 crore compared to H1 FY24-25. The company’s board of directors also declared an interim dividend of ₹5.00 (50%) per equity share of ₹10 each.

The company's P&K Fertilisers segment saw good performance due to timely procurement and supportive DOF policies. Urea volumes were lower due to an unscheduled stoppage of the G3 Plant. The Crop Protection Chemicals (CPC), Specialty Nutrients (SN), and Seeds segments recorded strong growth, with 16 new CPC products, Bajra, Maize, and Mustard seeds, and 3 new SN products launched in Kharif 25. The company's financial position shows increased total equity and higher subsidy receivables driven by P&K Sales and DAP subsidies.

The Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) project is progressing well, with overall completion at 86.95% as of September 30, 2025, and ₹1,052 crore spent. Construction activities are in full swing for the 2.4 Lakh MTPA capacity project. Furthermore, the company highlighted its CSR initiatives, including Project Akshar for pre-school and school education, Project Saksham for technical and vocational training, Project Arogya for health and sanitation, Project Saakar for rural development, and Project Bhoomi for environmental sustainability. Gadepan Panchayat, supported by Chambal Fertilisers, was recognized as one of India's best panchayats.
