Websol energy system: strong half-year growth and expanded capacity

Websol Energy System Limited reported a revenue from operations of INR 168 Cr for Q2FY26, with a year-on-year growth of 17.2%. For H1FY26, revenue from operations surged by 51.7% year-on-year to INR 387 Cr. The company's profit after tax (PAT) for Q2FY26 was INR 46 Cr, a 10.3% year-on-year increase, while H1FY26 PAT grew by 74.9% year-on-year to INR 114 Cr. EBITDA for Q2FY26 stood at INR 72 Cr, with a 15.4% year-on-year growth, and H1FY26 EBITDA increased by 64.8% year-on-year to INR 176 Cr.

The company's financial health is further highlighted by an improved debt/equity ratio, which decreased to 0.37x in H1FY26 from 0.84x in H1FY25. Cash flow from operations also saw a strong generation of INR 132 Cr in H1FY26, supporting its expansion initiatives. Net debt as of September 30, 2025, was reported at INR 92.5 Cr.

Websol Energy also announced the successful commissioning of its phase II 600 MW Mono-PERC solar cell line on September 27, 2025, less than 12 months after construction started. This expansion, fully funded through internal accruals, has already achieved a maximum cell efficiency of 23.6% within its first month of production, doubling the cell capacity at the Falta plant to 1200 MW.
