Reliance Power addresses asset attachments, plans board meeting on results

Reliance Power Limited clarified on November 4, 2025, that recent asset attachments by the Enforcement Directorate have no material impact on its operations, performance, or future prospects. The company stated that the majority of attached assets by value belong to Reliance Communications, which has been under the control of a Resolution Professional and Committee of Creditors since 2019 and is currently undergoing the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process. Reliance Power emphasized its commitment to over 50 lakh retail shareholders and reiterated that it remains a zero bank debt company with assets worth INR 41,282 crore and a net worth of INR 16,337 crore as of March 31, 2025.

The clarification follows a systematic campaign of price hammering and market manipulation, against which both Reliance Infrastructure and Reliance Power Limited filed a formal complaint with SEBI on October 29, 2025. The company also highlighted that Mr. Anil D. Ambani is not involved with Reliance Communications and has not served on the boards of Reliance Infrastructure or Reliance Power for over three and a half years.

Concurrently, Reliance Power announced a Board of Directors meeting scheduled for Monday, November 10, 2025. The agenda includes considering and approving the unaudited financial results (standalone and consolidated) for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. The board will also discuss raising long-term resources through foreign currency convertible bonds or other permissible methods, subject to necessary approvals. The trading window for designated persons is closed from October 1, 2025, until 48 hours after the board meeting outcome.
