Norton Motorcycles unveils four new models in "Resurgence" strategy

Norton Motorcycles, owned by TVS Motor Company, has announced a strategic "Resurgence" with the launch of four new models: Manx R, Manx, Atlas, and Atlas GT. This initiative follows a £200 million investment by TVS Motor Company since its acquisition of Norton in April 2020. The company’s Solihull manufacturing facility, opened in 2021, is capable of building 8,000 motorcycles annually and has seen a 25% increase in its workforce ahead of Manx R production in early 2026.

The Resurgence strategy includes a new dynamic logo and focuses on expanding its retail network to over 200 showrooms across the UK, USA, India, and Europe by early 2026. TVS Motor Company reported a highest-ever annual turnover of £3.39 bn and a £10.7 bn market capitalisation this year, demonstrating strong financial backing for Norton's ambitious plans.

The new Manx R features an all-new 72-degree 1,200 cc V4 engine, semi-active Marzocchi suspension, Brembo Hypure brakes, and an 8" Touchscreen TFT cluster. Its engine develops 206 hp at 11,500 rpm, with a peak torque of 130 Nm at 9,000 rpm. The Manx R will also feature Cornering Cruise Control, Switchable Linear Traction Control, and Remote Immobilization, among other advanced technologies.
