Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers declares strong half-year results, interim dividend

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) announced strong unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. The board of directors, at its meeting on November 4, 2025, declared an interim dividend of ₹5.75 per equity share, totaling ₹65.87 crore from the half-year's profits. The record date for eligible shareholders for this dividend is fixed for Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

For the second quarter of FY26, GRSE reported a 42% year-on-year increase in total income to ₹1746 crore and a 45% rise in revenue from operations to ₹1677 crore. Profit before tax (PBT) for Q2FY26 surged by 60% to ₹209 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) grew by 57% to ₹154 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) for Q2FY26 stood at ₹13.43, up from ₹8.54 in Q2FY25.

For the half-year ended September 30, 2025 (H1FY26), total income reached ₹3128 crore, a 35% growth over H1FY25. Revenue from operations increased by 38% to ₹2987 crore. The company’s EBITDA grew by 49% to ₹409 crore. PBT for H1FY26 rose by 53% to ₹376 crore, and PAT increased by 48% to ₹274 crore compared to the previous year.
