Asian Energy Services secures largest coal handling plant contract

Asian Energy Services Limited (AESL) announced on November 4, 2025, that it has secured a ~Rs 459 crore contract from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited for a Coal Handling Plant (CHP) in Odisha. This project, secured with a joint venture partner, includes pre-engineered turnkey execution, encompassing design, supply, erection, commissioning, trial run, testing, and operation and maintenance during the Defect Liability Period.

The contract, valued at approximately Rs 459 crore (inclusive of GST and BOCW Cess), represents the largest CHP order ever secured by AESL and is expected to be executed over seven years. This achievement significantly bolsters the company's order book, which now exceeds Rs 2,000 crore (excluding Kuiper).
