Zee Media Corporation appoints Raktimanu Das as new chief executive

Zee Media Corporation Limited has announced the appointment of Raktimanu Das as the chief executive officer of the company. The decision was made by the board of directors at a meeting held on November 3, 2025, following the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee. The appointment is effective from November 4, 2025, and is subject to necessary approvals.

Das brings over two decades of extensive media experience across India's leading brands, including TV9 Network, Zee Entertainment, Network18 Media, and The Times of India. He has a proven track record in revenue leadership, editorial acumen, innovative monetization, and agile transformation, with experience in broadcast, digital, and OTT businesses. His previous role was chief growth officer (digital & broadcasting) at TV9 Network.

Das holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Media Management and a Master's degree in Operational Research.
