Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts reports strong half-year earnings

Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts announced its unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. The company reported a profit after tax of ₹5973 lakhs for the half-year, a substantial increase from ₹3236 lakhs in the same period last year and ₹9485 lakhs for the full audited year ended March 31, 2025. Total revenue for the half-year stood at ₹23762 lakhs, up from ₹20207 lakhs year-on-year.

The company's basic and diluted earnings per share for the half-year ended September 30, 2025, were ₹9.53, compared to ₹5.16 in the previous year's half-year period. Total expenses for the half-year were ₹15677 lakhs, slightly higher than ₹15343 lakhs reported in the prior year's corresponding period. These results were reviewed by the audit committee and approved by the board of directors on November 3, 2025.

The consolidated financial results also reflected a positive trend, with a profit after tax of ₹4461 lakhs for the half-year ended September 30, 2025, up from ₹3236 lakhs in the previous year. The consolidated results include the company's share of profit from its joint venture, Green Woods Palaces and Resorts Private Limited. Renovation activities at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad, and public areas at Taj Chandigarh and Taj Club House, Chennai, were undertaken during the period to enhance customer satisfaction.
