Power Grid Corporation declares interim dividend, plans ₹6,000 crore fundraising

POWERGRID’s board of directors, meeting on November 3, 2025, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. The company announced a first interim dividend of ₹4.50 per equity share (45% of the paid-up equity capital) for the financial year 2025-26. The record date for the dividend is November 10, 2025, with payment scheduled for December 1, 2025.

In addition to the financial results and dividend, the board approved raising funds up to ₹6,000 crore through an unsecured Rupee Term Loan/Line of Credit from the State Bank of India (SBI).

Furthermore, the company has complied with SEBI regulations regarding the utilization of proceeds from bond issuances. A certificate from statutory auditors confirms the maintenance of security cover for listed non-convertible debt securities as of September 30, 2025. The company raised ₹6,000.00 crore in Q1 and ₹5,000.00 crore in Q2 of FY 2025-26 through non-convertible securities, with utilization aligned to the stated purposes.
