Jain Irrigation reports strong Q2 growth, positive outlook

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. announced a robust performance for Q2 FY26, with overall income increasing by 20% to ₹1,432 crores compared to ₹1,191 crores in the same period last year. This growth, achieved in a deflationary environment, translates to an approximate 25% increase on a quantity basis. EBITDA for the company surged by 43%, with high-tech business EBITDA growing by 37%, and agro-processing margins improving from low single-digit to double-digit.

The company's high-tech business saw a 39% increase, plastics grew by 9.5%, and agro-processing by 15% during the quarter. Exports for the first half of FY26 rose by 38% to ₹259 crores. Jain Irrigation expects to achieve overall growth beyond 15% for the full fiscal year, with Q3 and Q4 anticipated to be strong due to seasonality and recent GST reductions on drip irrigation and solar pumps.

The order book stands at approximately ₹1,900 crores, with an estimated ₹1,500 crores expected to be executed within the next six months. The company also anticipates significant revenue from a new beverage bottling unit in FY27, with the first two lines operational by March.
