IRCON International names Vinod Kumar executive director/civil

IRCON International Limited, a Navratna company under the Government of India, has appointed Shri Vinod Kumar as its new executive director/civil, effective November 3, 2025. The appointment was approved by the company's board of directors following a recommendation from the nomination and remuneration committee. Shri Kumar, a 1998 batch IRSE officer, will join IRCON on a deputation basis from the Ministry of Railways.

Shri Kumar brings extensive experience from his tenure with the Indian Railways, having contributed to several major infrastructure projects. His notable assignments include the Lumding-Silchar Gauge Conversion Project, Rangia-Murkongselek Gauge Conversion Project, Harmuti-Naharlagun (Itanagar) New Line Project, Udhampur – Srinagar Baramulla Rail Link Project, and the Bairabi – Sairang (Aizawl) New Line Railway Project.

The company formally communicated this change to the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, highlighting that Shri Kumar will be part of IRCON's senior management personnel. This strategic appointment is expected to bolster the company's civil engineering capabilities and project execution expertise.
