Gujarat State Petronet names Manoj Kumar Das as new chairman and managing director

Gujarat State Petronet Limited (GSPL) has announced the appointment of Shri Manoj Kumar Das, an IAS officer, as its new chairman and managing director, effective November 1, 2025. The decision was made via a circular resolution by GSPL's board of directors on November 3, 2025. Shri Manoj Kumar Das has been nominated for this role by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited.

Shri Manoj Kumar Das, an IAS officer with a B.Tech in computer science from IIT-Kharagpur, brings extensive experience in revenue administration, urban management, law and order, and disaster management. His diverse career includes roles as district development officer, district collector, deputy municipal commissioner, and principal secretary for various departments.

The company confirmed that Shri Manoj Kumar Das is not debarred from holding a director's office by any SEBI order. He is also not related to any other director on the board. This appointment aligns with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
