Pankaj Joshi resigns as GNFC chairman and director after superannuation

Pankaj Joshi, IAS (Retd.), has resigned from his position as director and chairman of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GNFC), effective October 31, 2025, after working hours. The resignation was submitted via a letter dated October 31, 2025, and received by the company on November 1, 2025. This change is a direct consequence of his superannuation from the services of the Government of Gujarat.

Joshi’s resignation as chairman and director from GNFC follows his superannuation as chief secretary to the Government of Gujarat, as per GAD Notification No. AIS/35.2025/51/G, dated October 28, 2025. In addition to GNFC, he has also tendered his resignation from various other companies and boards where he held directorial or chairman positions, including Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited, Gujarat State Petronet Limited, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Gujarat Gas Limited, GSPL India Gasnet Limited, GSPL India Transco Limited, and Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited.

The intimation of this change in the company's directorate is made under Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
