Escorts Kubota reports mixed October sales, tractor volumes up but construction down

Escorts Kubota Limited reported its sales figures for October 2025, with total tractor volumes up 3.8% to 18,798 units from 18,110 units in October 2024, marking the company's highest monthly tractor sales. Domestic tractor sales rose 3.3% to 18,423 units, driven by preponed festive season demand and favorable agricultural conditions. Export tractor sales jumped 38.4% to 375 units.

For the April-October period, total tractor sales grew 11.8% to 83,256 units. Domestic sales for this period increased 10.5% to 79,600 units, while export sales surged 48.7% to 3,656 units.

Conversely, the Construction Equipment Business Division saw a 28.8% decline in sales, selling 452 machines in October 2025 compared to 635 in October 2024. The company attributed this decline to extended monsoon and slow mobilization of infrastructure projects, but anticipates recovery later in the fiscal year due to government commitment to infrastructure investments. For the April-October period, construction equipment sales were down 22.2% to 2,653 machines from 3,411 machines in the prior year.
