Andhra Petrochemicals reports quarterly profit despite half-year loss

Andhra Petrochemicals Limited reported a profit of INR 110.47 lakhs before tax for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. However, the company recorded a loss of INR 820.02 lakhs for the half-year ending on the same date, primarily due to an earlier quarter loss of INR 930.49 lakhs. The board approved these unaudited results on November 1, 2025, which have undergone a limited review by statutory auditors.

Revenue from operations for the quarter was INR 16,764.30 lakhs, contributing to a half-year total of INR 30,910.01 lakhs. Total expenses for the quarter amounted to INR 17,261.22 lakhs, and for the half-year, they reached INR 33,034.33 lakhs. Basic and diluted earnings per equity share stood at INR 0.25 for the quarter, while for the half-year, it was a loss of INR 0.74.

The company is also engaged in an ongoing land lease renewal process with Visakhapatnam Port Authority, which is pending execution of a lease deed. The unaudited financial results were prepared in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
