United Breweries: Q3 profit declines amid falling income

United Breweries Limited reported its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. Standalone total income from operations decreased to INR 3,75,057 Lakhs from INR 4,75,204 Lakhs in the same quarter of the previous year. Net profit for the period after tax and exceptional items also fell to INR 4,695 Lakhs standalone, down from INR 13,225 Lakhs year-on-year. Basic earnings per share (EPS) on a standalone basis stood at INR 1.78, compared to INR 5.00 in the prior year's quarter.

On a consolidated basis, the company mirrored the standalone trend, with total income from operations decreasing to INR 3,75,217 Lakhs from INR 4,75,396 Lakhs in Q3 2024. Consolidated net profit after tax and exceptional items was INR 4,634 Lakhs for the quarter, a decline from INR 13,233 Lakhs in the corresponding period last year. Consolidated basic EPS was INR 1.76, down from INR 5.00.

Year-to-date figures show standalone total income from operations at INR 9,14,040 Lakhs, with net profit after tax and exceptional items at INR 23,066 Lakhs. Consolidated year-to-date total income from operations reached INR 9,14,402 Lakhs, and net profit after tax and exceptional items was INR 23,037 Lakhs.
