RailTel secures ₹1.36 bn order from defence sector customer

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. (RailTel) announced today, October 31, 2025, that it has received a significant work order from a defence sector customer. The domestic order, for "Telecom - P2P Lease Line" and "Hiring of Links," is valued at ₹1,36,00,00,000.

The contract is expected to be executed by January 29, 2027. RailTel confirmed that neither the promoter, promoter group, nor group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the order, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
