One 97 Communications simplifies structure, acquires full ownership of subsidiaries

One 97 Communications Limited has completed the acquisition of remaining stakes in two companies, effective October 30, 2025. This action is part of the company's ongoing efforts to simplify its group structure.

The acquisitions include a 51% stake in Paytm Intelligence Limited (formerly known as Paytm Emerging Tech Limited until October 30, 2025) from VSS Holdings Private Limited, a company 100% owned by Vijay Shekhar Sharma. Additionally, the company acquired a 51% stake in Paytm Life Insurance Limited directly from Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

Following these transactions, both Paytm Intelligence Limited and Paytm Life Insurance Limited are now wholly-owned subsidiaries of One 97 Communications Limited.
