Mahanagar Gas reports strong H1 FY26 revenue growth

Mahanagar Gas Limited announced its financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, showing H1 FY26 revenue of ₹4,130.71 crore, a 19.66% increase year-over-year. Despite the revenue growth, EBITDA for H1 FY26 decreased slightly by 1.37% to ₹838.66 crore compared to H1 FY25. For Q2 FY26, revenues reached ₹2,049.33 crore.

The company maintains a strong customer base with 1.22 million CNG vehicles and 2.95 million PNG households. Its infrastructure includes over 8,062 Kms of pipeline and 485 CNG filling stations. Operational metrics indicate H1 FY26 revenues (net) per SCM at ₹49.90, with a gross profit per SCM of ₹16.87.

Mahanagar Gas reported an EPS of ₹51.93 for H1 FY26. The company also highlighted its diversified sourcing strategy, with 69.87% of sales volume composition from CNG and 13.31% from D-PNG in Q2 FY26. The company’s return on equity (RoE) for FY25 was 18.91%, demonstrating robust financial health.
