L&T secures key role in TenneT's offshore wind program

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an Indian multinational, announced on October 30, 2025, that it has secured a key role in TenneT’s landmark offshore wind program. This involves delivering state-of-the-art HVDC converter stations in collaboration with Hitachi Energy, a global technology leader in electrification. The initiative aims to integrate large-scale renewable energy into the European power grid, specifically across the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.

This development reinforces L&T's position as a key enabler in the global energy transition, highlighting its commitment to sustainable infrastructure. The company’s offshore wind business leverages multidisciplinary capabilities, strategic alliances, and three world-class modular fabrication facilities to execute large-scale projects meeting high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
