Bharat Electronics secures orders over Rs. 732 crore

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, has announced securing additional orders valued at Rs. 732 crore since its last disclosure on October 22, 2025. These new orders encompass a diverse range of defence and technology components, underscoring BEL's critical role in India's defence sector.

The major orders include Software Defined Radios (SDRs), tank sub-systems, communication equipment, and missile components. Additionally, BEL will provide financial management software, cyber security solutions, upgrades, spares, and various services. The Software Defined Radios, a significant part of these orders, are fully indigenous, jointly designed and developed with DRDO, and manufactured by BEL.

These state-of-the-art SDRs are designed for interoperability with existing and legacy radio systems, facilitating a smooth transition between technologies. They are expected to enhance secure, real-time communications and strengthen the Indian Army's operational readiness in complex network-centric environments.
